Accounting Manager

Robert and Company has an immediate opening for an Accounting Manager to join our team located in Atlanta, Georgia. The role entails overseeing financial and accounting for the business.

Responsibilities:

  • Forecasting, Budgeting, Financial Reporting, Planning, Cash Flow Management and other Finance focused work
  • Oversee and manage all financial and accounting operations within the organization
  • Take responsibility for all cash management, investments, insurance, budgeting, compliance, and financial performance and reporting, and help drive the company's financial strategy.
  • Invoice projects with various client submittal requirements
  • Set up new projects in Ajera
  • Review project contracts
  • Support all departments with project accounting needs
  • Conduct monthly meetings with Project Managers
  • Prepare annual business insurance applications
  • Prepare annual overhead analysis
  • Supervise Accounting Staff

Requirements:

  • Position requires a minimum of 5 to 10 years of experience in Finance and Accounting. Experience with professional service firms is a plus.
  • Must possess a strong understanding and experience in Month End Close processes.
  • A Bachelor's degree in Finance or Accounting is required.
  • Ability to lead monthly meetings with Project Managers.
  • Proficiency in Project Accounting software and Microsoft Office is required. Knowledge of Ajera is a plus.
  • Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
  • Proven strategic planning and financial analysis skills including proficiency in financial modeling and budgeting.
  • Demonstrated ability to work collaboratively across different teams.
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality and exercise extreme discretion.

Electrical Engineer, PE

Robert and Company has an opening for an Electrical Engineer, PE. This includes the opportunity for near term advancement in addition to great exposure from our talented and experienced engineering staff in our Atlanta, GA office.

Job Responsibilities

  • The production of construction documents from initial design through construction administration under the supervision of the Electrical Department Manager.
  • Responsible for Electrical Design documentation.
  • Responsible for oversight of production team on specific projects
  • Lead multi-disciplinary team for electrically focused projects
  • Perform collaboration and coordination with other disciplines on all projects
  • Perform projects within established project budgets and schedules

Required Skills:

  • 5+ years of experience.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • High attention to detail and accuracy
  • Must be detail-oriented and quality driven
  • Able to analyze and resolve problems at both a strategic and a functional level
  • Strong AutoCAD experience
  • Knowledge of NEC and IBC
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office, including Excel, Word and Outlook
  • BS in Electrical Engineering from an ABET accredited university
  • Hold a PE Registration

Preferred:

  • SKM experience
  • Revit experience
  • Cost estimating experience
  • Multi-discipline project management a plus

Mechanical Engineer, PE

Robert and Company has an immediate opening for a Mechanical Engineer. Position requires at least 5 years experience as a Mechanical Engineer in a consulting environment. Professional registration PE required.

Successful candidate will design and review process piping, commercial and military aircraft fuel storage pumps and systems, HVAC and plumbing systems, prepare and review plans and specifications and participate in construction management. Position requires strong technical and design calculation skills, verbal and written communication skills, and the ability to work with people.

  • The production of construction documents from initial design to bidding, under the supervision of a senior engineer.
  • Although the majority of drawing setup is done by the Architectural and Civil Team members you will be responsible for the set up of the Electrical drawing set.
  • Responsible for Electrical Design documentation.
  • Responsible for oversight of production team on specific projects
  • Perform collaboration and coordination with other disciplines on all projects.
  • Perform projects within established project budgets and schedules.

Required Skills:

  • 3+ years of experience.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • High attention to detail and accuracy
  • Must be detail-oriented and quality driven
  • Able to analyze and resolve problems at both a strategic and a functional level
  • Strong AutoCAD experience
